For his Eagle Scout project Joe Zott decided to enhance the Smith School-Bell St. trail with picnic tables at the Smith School end and benches spaced along the path.  Joe worked with the town on the placement and selection of low-maintenance tables and benches.  He and his fellow Boy Scouts prepared the base, then assembled and installed the tables and benches.  The Town of Glastonbury, Bike Walk Glastonbury, Glastonbury River Runners and individual donors provided financial support for this improvement to the town’s new multi-use path.
