Thank-you to all of you who have supported our efforts to advocate for the Putnam Bridge Trail as it finally was opened this past Thursday. I am happy to report that two days after the opening, the trail was crowded with pedestrians and cyclists! Here are a few photos taken from the opening day.
On Saturday, June 26, Bike/Walk Glastonbury was joined by a group of active Glastonbury citizens at the Boathouse to remind the State that completion of the much delayed ramps to both ends of the Putnam Bridge should get started this year. The announcement of another postponement of construction is not acceptable.
