This August, Bike Walk Glastonbury was a Silver Sponsor for the Discover Tour of Glastonbury.  This year’s event had riders enjoying three different routes of 10, 25, and 50 miles.  The ride featured a post-ride BBQ under the big tent with music by The Meadow Brothers.  Nearby the big tent, the event organizers held a Bike Rodeo, a fun way for the little ones to learn cycling safety.

While the weather was great and the event was enjoyed by all attendees, it would be hard to argue that anyone enjoyed themselves more than the riders on the rickshaw!  Cycling Without Age brought their rickshaw from West Hartford and joined riders on the 10 mile option.  The passengers were thrilled to have the opportunity to enjoy the roads of Glastonbury by “bicycle”.
