Bike Walk Glastonbury was a proud supporter of the 2^nd annual Tour of Glastonbury on September 6^th. The Tour, a Kiwanis Club event, was threatened with forecasts of severe thunderstorms. However, the cycling friendly roads of Glastonbury caused droves of riders of all ages to take their chances and hope the weathermen were wrong.

Bike Walk Glastonbury had a tent set-up during the event and had a few of its members out on the ride as well. Each and every person that stopped by the tent had smiles on their faces and willingly shared their fun-filled stories and experiences from The Tour. Hopefully the experience and enthusiasm will inspire them to return to the roads soon, perhaps at the upcoming Bike Boulevard Scavenger Hunt on Oct 19^th.
